Mansour Automotives, a leading automobile manufacturer and distributor,
contracted NOOR for MPLS-VPN with telecommuter access (VPDN), and
Web & Mail hosting.
In this issue of our monthly newsletter we interviewed Ahmad Taha,
a leading IT figure within Mansour corporation
What do you like most about NOOR?
Support. It is really outstanding. All problems are solved instantly,
and NOOR solves the problems in a different way: unlike other
SPs, NOOR knows exactly all the details of my network, and NOOR
staff are always ready to help solving problems.
Why did you choose MPLS-VPN other
than legacy VPN technologies like FR-VPNs?
Price and reliability. This service is really cheap in comparison
to FR, and you can always count on it.
Did you need to change or upgrade
any hardware to use MPLS-VPN or you used the already existing
hardware?
I used the existing hardware. This saved both time and money.
This is a definite privilege.
How do you benefit from the dialup-based
MPLS-VPN feature?
Part of our MPLS-VPN is based on dialup (VPDN Telecommuter). So,
our staff abroad can access our network through an IP VPN. Inside
the country, they can access the network through the Internet.
Do you think your current data
connectivity infrastructure makes a difference for your position
in the market?
Sure. As a result of this infrastructure, we expanded. The difference
will become more obvious on the long run.
Are there any IT services you think
NOOR should add to its current Product Portfolio?
Wireless connectivity. This service will be an asset.
Do you recommend NOOR as a Data
Carrier to other companies?
Definitely.
